Right now, I'm looking at photo's of my recent trip to Pulau Kapas. What can I say, a marvellous trip & a brilliant company. As I marvelled at the beauty of it all, it dawned on me the similarities between the places i've been. Beautiful beaches, lush green jungles, clear blue sky. This got me wondering, is this really what travelling should just be? Now I'm yearning for more. I need something different. A different experience altogether. Different people. Different language. Quite simply, I'd like to be immersed in contrast. Wilderness of Africa? Rugged mountains of Kathmandu? Or the ultra-urban setting of New York. Australia will be on my next to do list. That should be a good start to some contrast. It'll be winter when i'm there and me and Viv's reserved some time for snow boarding. The count down begins!

These are pictures of Gunung Datuk, Seremban. The hike up took us roughly an hour. It was a torturous one...lol...but in the end, it was rewarding. Pictures paint a thousand words (and what an eloquent excuse to not write ;)
